Workplace Investigations

TrendLine, since 2001, has been providing third-party workplace investigations of complex discrimination, code-based harassment, and bullying/personal harassment complaints, as well as workplace violence and wrongful dismissals and regularly participates in conflict resolution and post-complaint restoration. 

Our corporate client group encompasses a cross-section of business and industry from the transportation, warehousing and distribution, fabrication and repair, hospitality, broadcasting, professional and medical services, mining, forestry, marine and manufacturing sectors and includes municipalities, school boards, health care and social service agencies from the broader public sector as well as Ministries of the Ontario Government, Federal Agencies, Indigenous Organizations, and First Nations.

Our Lead Investigator, Marilyn Owston, is certified in Workplace Investigations and has gained valuable hands-on experience in investigation techniques, evidence gathering, and effective use of fact-finding interviewing techniques as the sole investigator for numerous investigations of discrimination, harassment including sexual harassment, bullying, workplace violence allegations, and wrongful dismissal.
